Comprised of both Sashco team members and experienced contractors, the Zero Failures team is committed to delivering a seminar experience that will deliver results as soon as you get back to the grind. They'll leave you energized, inspired, and engaged - ready to take on the world (or at least the next bid). They promise a few jokes along the way, too.
SENIOR STAINS CHEMIST
Wood Science & Application
Jim is Sashco’s resident stain nerd. He graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. Twenty-five of his post-college years have been spent in the coatings industry, first with Behr Process Corp., and finally landing at Sashco nine years ago. At Behr, Jim formulated paints, stains, water repellents, sealers, basement coatings, and labs. (Yes, he designed Behr’s labs.) At Sashco, he quickly took over as lead stain innovator and ideas guy extraordinaire. Jim is passionate about investigating new coatings technologies that push the envelope and help Sashco stay ahead of the competition. Jim’s fluffy pancake recipe wins rave reviews from people the internet over via his wife’s website. He enjoys a regular dose of exercise via DIY handyman and remodeling projects at home, his most recent being a kitchen remodel.
SENIOR SEALANTS CHEMIST
Wood Science & Application
Andy is Sashco’s resident caulking geek. He’s passionate about creating unique sealant formulas that Sashco’s customers can count on to solve problems reliably for years and years and years and…(you get the idea). He joined Sashco 20 years ago, fresh out of college with a BS in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining from the Colorado School of Mines. He’s been known to play a practical joke or two – ask him about the office full of shredded paper – and has an affinity for card games. Andy teaches the surface preparation and sealant sections of Zero Failures and enjoys talking (caulk) shop with attendees.
